Day 1 --so we quickly found out on our first day of camping that a campfire coffee percolator was a bad investment. ($12.00...and we pitched it at the campground!) fortunately, we also made a good investment before leaving columbus and purchased a $50 starbucks gift card. my friend mandee taught me to purchase gift cards at giant eagle to places we frequent so that we can earn giant eagle get-go gas points. (she's pretty smart). that starbucks purchase helped lead to our pre-departure fill up of $1.38/gallon.
we are currently waiting out a rainstorm in a starbucks just outside of little rock, AR, enjoying our beverages and updating our blog.
