Day 6 -- In Austin we stayed with our friends Katy and Bryan. They were fantastic hosts and gave us a great sampling of their city.Katy
was very influential in my decision to become a 
nutrition major as she is very knowledgeable about organic food and holistic health. She and Bryan took us to wonderful restaurants that served fresh organic food. Bryan knows a lot about his city and gave us great Austin trivia tid-bits.Katy and Bryan have a lovable little brindle colored Cairn Terrier named Vern. He is so damn cute. Look at his ears! One is always perked up and the other is always flopped down. They also have a friendly kitty named Earl Gray. He is a lap cat who brings his "people" presents. While we were there, he brought Katy and Bryan a little lizard. He also prefers to drink directly from the kitchen faucet and meows to let Bryan know he is thirsty.

You know, this is just confirmation of what a total slacker Stuart is! I'm so glad you guys are having a great trip, but if you feel like you need to cut it short and come home sooner....=)
hey annie baby! miss you so much! how are our house plants doing? that african violet is touchy...no worries if it doesn't make it. picked you two up a sweet "thanks for waterin the plants" gift yesterday. can't wait to give it to you.
we won't be cutting it short. extending by one day. BUT we will be home JUST in time for shana and scott's party on firday night. can't wait to see you then.
and you'll never hear me call stu a slacker. that will NEVER get him to like me.
