Day 2 -- When we left the campgrounds, we realized we needed to charge our cell phones. Before leaving for our trip, we purchased a fancy car adapter. Apparently, it sucks more energy than Miles can handle and the outlet for the adapter is apparently on the same circuit as the radio/CD player. So, upon plugging in the adapter, we blew a fuse that left us without our CD player...kind of a must for a cross country car trip. Adam assured me that it was a simple fix and we just needed to find an exit with a car store. I was more worried about finding an exit with a Starbucks! So, in the middle of nowhere Kentucky, we took the first exit we could and this is what we saw...I got my coffee and he fixed our fuse. Off to Memphis!
